The MC went to the summer camp with family and bonded with the camp owner's daughter. They go their separate ways and years later, the either divorced or widowed MC goes back to the camp with his father and while listening to an old song, says something to the effect of "I think of her every time I hear this song" The girl is standing behind him and iirc, echoes his sentiment.
