Well, to 'bump' someone just means to push the thread to the top of that forum. Basically it's something to do if you want to keep the thread 'alive'. Most of the time you'll notice a thread that you've seen one day will disappear amongst all the others. A thread can get pushed so far down on the boards that it gets lost and becomes 'dead'.

So we keep threads like this one by Jason (hiya jason honey!!) up close to the top by giving it a little....

BUMP!!!
