I’m looking for recommendations of stories or authors that do dialogue-heavy mother/son themes. Specifically leaning into TALKING about the taboo nature of it all.
There’s an actress I’ve seen recently, Pink Drop, who has the language/phrasing down perfectly for me
references to going “back into the hole that you came from” and “the penis I made” and that sort of thing. Outright calling it incest, etc. Really leaning hard into the uniqueness and wrongness of the act.
I find wonderful stuff here and there but it’s the dialogue that REALLY gets me.
Anyone able to suggest some stories or authors that do that?
