Looking for recommended stories about reconciliation in the Loving Wives category

I'm looking for a specific type of story where the wife is caught cheating, preferably in the act, with a guy with a bigger cock than her husband's, but instead of divorcing her or becoming a cuckold, they are both able to work out their issues in the end and get back together. I know some people despise stories like this because they view the husband as a wimp, but I find earnest female contrition to be very sexy and satisfying. I like it when they beg for forgiveness after falling to the lowest point in their lives and the husband has a big enough heart to forgive and rescue her in spite of her mistakes.

I also like stories where the wife is caught and exposed by her children, especially if it's her son. I like family drama and when the mother is shamed and ridiculed for cheating on her husband by her own children. I also like incest stories where the son finds out his mother is a total slut and shames her for it while taking advantage of her, but doesn't share her with anybody else. If anybody has any recommendations, I'd appreciate it. I've done a lot of searches on my own and I'm tired of reading and investing in cheating wives stories that end up turning into BTB at the very end.

Can't say anything about the big cock part, but there's this story called 'Requital' by Longhorn_07 in LW category.

Dialogues are good, and the recociliation part is satisfactory. Also won an 'Editor's Choice', I think.

Yeah, I read that, too. That was a good one, although I thought the wife was way too naive to be believable. She never actually had sex with guy, either, so it took some of the sting out of it that I was looking for. I like to be able to feel the pain and fear from the husband's perspective and imagine myself in the same situation. I have a touch of masochism in me, but not to the point of enjoying it like the cuckold crowd. I just like the really intense emotions. It's not even about trying to get turned on, just imagining myself in that situation and trying to work out how I would feel and what I would do about it. I've never been married before, so I guess I'm kinda trying to steel myself for the worst case scenario, considering how rampant infidelity is nowadays.

I agree with the quest and search, in that, there doesn't seem very many on reconciliation, but I understand the situation. the emotional responses, the physical responses, and the results of the betrayal. I'm new here, but since that time I have continually searched those stories. if there are any new ones, I would appreciate a heads up. I could even help in writing if you'd like. thanks Tootight1

Some good ones I've read so far:

"What Did I Do That Was Wrong?" by Ohio

"A Rush of Blood to the Head" by GirlintheMoon
"The Man Next Door" by GirlintheMoon

"After the Fact" by S-Des

"Wicked" by Metamorphose - Warning, this one is quite intense and can be very hard to get through, especially for the first 2 or 3 chapters, but it's worth it at the end.

Slirpuff, Harddaysknight, and DGHear also have a few reconciliation stories that I can't remember. Finally, Matt Moreau does quite a lot of reconciliation stories, but he also writes a lot of cuckold stories and has a strong leaning toward the masochistic, often too much for my tastes.

If anyone else has any more suggestions, let me know.

Here's a few

Here are a few reconciliation stories that I think are very good. Some are immediate reconciliation (no divorce) while others are reconciliation after the divorce.

A couple I'd highly recommend:

Consequences – Patti By cageytee©
Pain By slow_n_gentle

Several good stories:

Between the Pages of Adultery By laptopwriter
Looking Right At It By ohio
Fool's Gold By capecodmercury
Is Enough Really Enough? By Blue88
Out of Love by jezzaz (different kind of reconciliation)
The Symmetry of Sin By chilleywilley (different kind of reconciliation)

Several decent stories worth reading:

Wrote Finis to Her Marriage By Fran26
House of Cards By ohio
An Innocent Question By ohio
G3PDA By PostScriptor
Reconcilation By Enamored
A Day Early By thecelt
It's Gill with a 'G' By Kezza67

Hope this helps,
DFWBeast

Thanks for the suggestions!

I actually just started reading stuff by Blue88 yesterday. "Study in Scarlet" and the combined "Karen" and "Jack Bell: Redux" series were pretty good, although a bit long-winded at times. I've been a bit gunshy about reading more of Ohio's work since I read "The Surrogate". He fucked up the tags on that one and the ending really caught me off guard and pissed me off. I also forgot to add coaster2, imhapless, and amyyum to my list of authors on my last post. amyyum in particular is interesting because of her points-of-view at times, but overall I really like and respect her as an author and a person. Plus, she's hot as fuck!

Are there any stories out there in LW like Requital. I really liked that one.

That depends on what you liked about it. What I liked about Requital was actually the lengthy marriage counseling sessions. I thought it was kind of lame, though, that the wife never actually had sex with the guy and seemed unrealistically naive about what was going on between her and Rafe.

"After the Fact" by S-Des is sort of similar to "Requital" and runs for 3 chapters. I also like it because the couple has a kid, which makes it more realistic.

"What Did I Do That Was Wrong?" by Ohio is a bit hard to swallow at first, but it gets better along the way. It's actually written from the perspective of the marriage counselor, which worked surprisingly well.

What I liked about Requital:

1. The dialogues- I don't know if it's me but they were so memorable, especially on the first page of the story.

2. The counselling- A bit dragged at a few places but really believable.

3. The story arc- Good enough for a LW story and original enough

By the way, have you read Discovery by Jidoka?

Although it was not a reconciliation story, it was really good. As the name suggests, it is mostly the journey of the protagonist in his life and is not totally focussed on his marriage.

Have you read any other story like that?

A really good one is "Equation" by oshaw. It too, is more about the main character's life than just his marriage. It's just a really good story, overall.

Yeah, I've read that. Personally, I think it was a good story too and managed to come off as a 'sweet story', which is absolutely rare in LW.

Have you read anything else by Longhorn_07? I want to read some more of his stories, but they're so damn long and I don't want to go through 15+ pages just for it to turn into a BTB in the end, or a story where the protagonist is suddenly swept off his feet by some miraculous angel who saves him from his evil wife. Those stories usually end up being boring to me because the authors don't put enough time into developing the new woman before she and the main character get together. It just feels tacked-on and cheap. Spoiler alert, but that's how "The Surrogate" by Ohio ended, and it really put a sour taste in my mouth for those kind of stories.

You can try 'Across that Line'.

It was fun to read and the theme is basically about swinging. I can't say much more without creating a spoiler.

Lyin' eyes series is a bit tofu for my tastes, especially the reconciliation part. It wasn't that convincing as in Requital.

Apart from 'Fool him Once', 'Too high a price' and 'Obsession', most of his stories are based on reconciliation.

Just an update

I just finished reading "Separate Vacations" by DanielQSteele1, and I must say WOW! That story had damn near everything I was looking for and still managed to surprise me. 5 stars all the way. Could have used a bit more dialogue in places, but overall it was satisfying.

I'm curious about DSQ1's main storyline, "When We Were Married", but it's 21 chapters long and I'll be damned if I'm going to read all that for a dissatisfying ending. I don't want any spoilers, but if anyone has slogged through that behemoth, just let me know if it's worth the pain and suffering.

I'd also like to know about his other series, "Ghosts and Shadows". Even though both series have high scores, I've learned from experience that BTB and "greener pastures" stories always get higher scores than those about reconciliation and forgiveness, and I'd rather not waste my time.

I've read When we were Married.

It doesn't really focus on LW. The whole story is a bit of Courtroom thriller, so have you been warned. :)

Okay, I've got a new request. Does anybody know of any stories that revolve around a son coming to terms with his mother's infidelity? It doesn't have to be in the Loving Wives category either. I'm looking for something where there is a lot of animosity between the mother and son.

If you go on SOL

I think you'd like, "The Last Call," by nakdsub. It deals with a whole family's problems stemming from the wife's infidelity. It's rather long. I think it has 7 chapters but it's what you're looking for.

Thanks for the suggestion, laptopwriter. I enjoyed "Between the Pages of Adultery", by the way.

I just finished reading "Ghosts and Shadows" by DSQ1, and it was good, but one thing I never understand about cheating wife stories is how the most of the time the husband is able to walk away without going ballistic when he finally finds out about the wife's infidelity. I mean that kind of self-control just seems far-fetched to me. I'm not saying the husband should beat his wife, but damn, at least put the fear of God in her ass! I also don't get how the children (if they're old enough to know what's going on) can be so passive about their family breaking up and not immediately take sides. One of the things that really struck me as odd about "Ghosts and Shadows" was the main character threatening to stop talking to his own son if his son disowned his mother. If that had been me, father or not, I'd have told him to go fuck himself and have fun being miserable if he wanted to be like that. But that's just me, and I realize how fucked up I sound sometimes.

I'm pretty sure you'd like...

Eyes of my Dreams. But that's not a Lit story. It's one of my books. It has all the elements you're looking for including a hubby that goes a little mad when he first discovers his wife's tryst and reconciliation. It's available on Amazon, Smashwords, and Barnes & Noble.com

My books are under a different pen name. It is; V. Ian Masters

I'll be sure to look that up, laptopwriter. I already read "The Call" by nakdsub, and I'm on chapter 3 of "The Last Call". So far it's a damn good story. Thanks again for suggesting it. Do you know of any other good authors on SO? I hardly ever use that site because of the messed up search engine and the fees.

As I mentioned in my PM to you...

nakdsub is the only author I'm familiar with at SOL.

Not all of my stories end in reconciliation; however, I am not a BTB guy, either. I have several where the protagonists just go their separate ways. I also have a few where no cheating actually takes place.

I have one such story. I don't know if you'd be interested but it has received some nice reviews. It's called, "Continental Divide." If you'd like a slight change of pace, you might give it a quick read. It's only two pages.
