Looking for my Dom...

Hello everyone. I was very apprehensive about posting this but here it goes. This is long but if you read it you're a step closer to being my Dom. I am a new submissive looking to be trained.

Here is what I am looking for:

-Someone who is completely honest and open about themselves and our relationship.

-Someone who is understanding.

-Someone who is patient. I am new and apprehensive and it might take some time for me to become comfortable but I really do want to learn and push my limits.

-Someone who is willing to do more than just cybersex. I want to be “connected” throughout the day. Tasks to complete and/or check in times would be nice but I won’t tell you what to do. Just a suggestion.

-Someone who is firm but loving at the same time.

-I would prefer it if you weren’t married…

-Strictly online…for now anyway. You never know what will happen.

-Someone who has enough time to keep up with the relationship.

A bit about me:

-I am a full time college student living at home (so much cheaper).

-I am a Canadian living in Vermont.

-I probably shouldn’t say this but…I am a virgin. Don’t think that I can be another notch on your belt though.

-I am interested in travel, books, music, movies, hockey, fixing up old bikes, staying active, trying new things and lots more.

-I am honest and open, friendly, inquisitive, kind, and understanding.

-I am definitely a people pleaser and always have been.

-I don’t have a webcam. I don’t really want to get one but things change.

-I HATE using the phone, even with friends I’ve known forever, but this is a limit that I might be able to stretch with time.

-I am willing to buy toys that are within my spending limits.

-I have only found out about D/s a few weeks ago so I am very new although I have done a ton of research and know a lot.

I hope I am not being too picky. I want to find the right guy though. I have talked to a lot of creeps and I am getting tired of it. I want something real. Hi Kailey,

I just wanted to wish you well on your search for a Dom. Finding the right Dom is one of the most beautiful things ever but it's not always easy. You sound as if you've got a good head on your shoulders and you've done your homework. I know you've probably heard all of what I'm going to say before but I just felt like I should say it as it is what I've learned and sooo very important.

Make sure you really take your time. Get to know the men who message you. See if they are open. See if they take the time to know you in different ways, not just sexually. Realize that you can be as picky as you want to for only you know the caliber of the man that you would be able to submit to. Don't settle for anything less than that or your heart won't be in it and you won't be fulfilled. Be safe. Find someone patient, someone willing to give guidance, someone that remembers your concerns, someone that checks in with you to find out how you are changing and growing.

With that said, I wish you nothing but the best in your search; a PM box full of mail from non-creepy Doms.

Thank you everyone for your responses. I have been talking to A LOT of people. So many of you were what I was looking for but I found a Dom that I am going to work with. I will keep you in mind though. Good luck in everything you do.
