I've been trying to find this story from way back. Here's the basic plot.
Son is in backyard lounging around and mom comes home, finds him and starts bitching at him to get a job or mow the lawn, etc. He storms off, wanders the streets and finds himself in a pawn shop where he buys this trinket, maybe a necklace or a talisman of some kind.
While sitting on a park bench someone starts talking to him, through the talisman as we find out. This voice tells him things don't have to be this way, etc. I think the voice in the trinket was Native American, don't remember the person's name though.
Later he goes back home and things are different between his mother and him. At first we see her dressed a little different and nicer to her son. After that we see it all over again and again, each time the mother has sexier clothes on, in the end she's in a bikini, and acts even "nicer" to her son and starts flirting with him. In the end you know what happens.
I've searched all over but can't find this, if anyone can help I'd appreciate it.
Cheers!
