I thought it was quiet satisfying the way he broke his nose and made him pay out 3 mil. And numbnut could only agree or he'd loose everything.

I doubt that is the reason. Familiar with the author and most of his/her stories are were the cheating wife digs a deep hole, but gets a second chance.
