Looking for Loving Wives story

Guy is driving in downtown Boston (I think) planning to surprise his wife for lunch. He sees her in a car with another guy who she kisses is a more than friendly way. As I remember, he taps on the window. She is surprised, and the other guy takes off. He pursues them. The other guy tries to run an intersection and there is a massive accident. They are taken to the hospital. I think the other guy doesn’t make it, and the main guy’s wife is in a coma. He suspects something was going on between the two, but he doesn’t know, and he can’t get answers. Meanwhile, the other guy’s wife is there. She doesn’t know what happened either. They both want closure.

I seem to remember him finding a few clues, maybe even something involving her sister covering for her.

Sounds like Slirpluff's The Ties That Bind Us

Another "wife in a car accident; was she cheating?" story I ran into while trying to recall that one: DG Hear's I Need to Know

The Slirpuff story is the one I wanted. Thanks.

I do like DG Hear's story as well. Of course, there were two significant differences between the two stories. In the Slirpuff story, the wife lives and the husband knows she cheated. In the other, she dies in the accident but he later decides she wasn't cheating.
