A man catches his wife at “their” restaurant while she’s out with another man. I think he was with some of their friends when this happens. He leaves her, and takes a transfer in his work to leave Chicago behind. I think he is a software developer and has his friends cover for him so his ex doesn’t know where he went. Months pass and she’s working for a different company and he has to work with her on the software. She apologizes and tries to start over. He’s reluctant but weakening. One evening he’s going to surprise her at her apartment Butler catches going out with another guy again. This time he truly breaks it off.
