Hi!
My first submission is part one of a story I am writing for someone regarding a mutual fantasy. I thought I had done a good job of policing it for errors but I found a few mistakes on a recent read through. I want to take some anonymous advice that was given and have a volunteer editor look at part 2.
In terms of editing I'm looking for two things:
1) Developmental: I want to stay character and plot focused. The first part was mostly worldbuilding and introducing the players and conflict with sex sprinkled throughout since it is erotica after all.
2) Proofreading: I write in Word and copy/paste into the site. A few wrong words made it through because they weren't misspelled. And a few sentences didn't convey what I thought I wanted to convey.
It deals with some sensitive issues that the Black man I'm writing for is good with; I wouldn't mind another taking a sensitivity read to check me before I publish part 2. However, a sensitivity read can be separate from the editing.
Title: Becoming Reparations
Synopsis: In an alternate reality reparations has finally become a law. Mr. Hank Shaw is a successful contractor in Chicago who has the opportunity to take control of a successful rural electrical contracting firm in Missouri. (The firm is located near a military post and thrives off lucrative federal government contracts.) On his way to discuss terms of the reparations he meets Tiffany Shaw, the daughter of the firm's owner while she is training for cross-country. There is chemistry and he considers abandoning his reparations claim if she will date him--and after six months agrees to marry him.

Part 2 Status: I am close to being finished with part 2. This part is heavy on the sex, but will end with character development.
Kinks: Besides interracial several kinks will make their way into the story: stockings/nylon, BDSM, DD/lg, free-use, sharing, and public.
