You know what's hard to find in a woman? It's hard to find a decent conversationalist with the ability to discuss most any topic (including...gasp....SEX), who's well read/versed in pop culture, and who has an actual sense of humor. Looks take a serious second!
I'm interested in perhaps striking a conversation with a female who just might be of the belief that Paris Hilton is not newsworthy material, that there are certain types of music that just annoys the hell outof some people, and that, yes, John Cleese is in fact a former member of Monty Python's Flying Circus.
I'm looking for someone with ideas, with dreams and fantasies. I'm looking for the happy ones (goodness knows I'm not interested in extra emotional baggage), someone who just might make life interesting even if they're miles away. I want someone who actually knows how to work their computer. Ever play games on it? (believe it or not there are other things to do on a computer besides read porn and do taxes).
I'm okay with your religious/political beliefs just the way they are (and I tend to avoid such conversations anyways - God and me are okay with each other, and it doesn't matter jack who wins the election- odds are they're bunglers anyway). I'm okay with the fact that you're married, have a worthless husband, 5.3 kids, a dog, grandchildren, and a mortgage, if you're capable of friendship and are looking for an alternative to the usual stuff out there then maybe we can click. If you're hoping to find a total stranger to discuss your fantasies (or just to gripe to because the rent's gone up and you're fed up with life in general) then maybe I'm that ear you've been looking for.
I'm new to this forum (but not to the Literotica stories), but as I figure it what the hey. Who knows...I just might meet someone with the same likes as I do worth trading "My Space" websites with.
Oh...I hope you're into Sci-Fi (that's pretty much a requirement, lol!)
I hope you're out there....

:rose:

hi - i read your post with interest. it definitely put a smile on my face. i'm on my own journey of sorts....please check out the ad i posted a few days ago. no drama, no comittment, no stalking and no invitations to the jerry springer show...that about sums up my list of what i'm not looking for. i'm very new to this site and also to the entire interactive online communication. i'm hoping to meet some interesting people, step out of the "married with 2 kids and a dog" box and discover something new and fabulous about myself.
however, i'm a sci-fi novice so i can't carry on more than a line or two of conversation in that thread!

As a matter of fact I did see your post. I had thought to reply to it but then figured that since the ratio of men to women here seems to be in the neighborhood of around 5000 to 1 I had figured it'd be best to start from scratch.
It would seem we aren't too different (to use the nautical term of "Two ships in the night").
A novice at sci-fi? That's a start at least, lol! It's a whole world onto itself and well worth investigating.
After reading your original post I'm going to assume the "Creamandsuga" as reference to your bi-racial status (as opposed to how you like your coffee). Interesting since both cream and sugar are white ;) Maybe there's a reference to coffee after all? (ahhh, coffee, the nector of college!) So what two races might they be? I personally am of predominantly European decent with French being the prominant one, although I'm told I look more Spanish/Italian (and some think "Jewish" but I don't know of any connection there).
As coincidence would have it I too have a 13 year old son.
So tell me, how did you happen upon this site? You have to admit it's rather unique, and a great way to explore your fantasies in the realm of sexuality. It would seem we have that in common as well, the urge to see what's out there.
:p

Goodness gratious! Page 3! I might as well have been asking for a left-handed blind mutant half girl with asthma who's into blueberries and getting spanked while singing the national anthem! Alas, even Creamandsuga seems to have disappeared.
Well, I guess after looking at the sausage-fest of advertisement (let's face it, if you're a woman who by some chance stumbled into here you pretty much'll have your pick - there's more hotdogs here than at a weinie roast!) I shouldn't get my hopes up.
Still...I've been known to be a pretty patient person.

not sure where you've been searching???

sorry marvin! there are PLENTY of women out there who possess many of the qualities you seek. i'm very sorry that you haven't found someone yet. good luck on your search and keep your eyes open for someone special ;)

Aye, Laila, I know it's still early...one just needs to be patient 'tis all. It's an upstream battle that must be fought. After all I'm competing with legendary posts here like "Man needs woman for phone sex" or the alphabet league of "SWM Seeks BBW for EMA".
I do know there's clever/intelligent people out there, some of the stories posted here at Literotica are facinating enough to believe that there's true talent out there, and it's that sort of imagination I seek to converse with.
I'm willing to wait, to see, and who knows...
BTW, Thanks Katze, you have mail :)
Oh, Jonny, toss in Lindsey lohan and Nicole Ritchie. Gee, what's going on these days? I could have sworn there was more important things for the news to cover, like the International Ugliest Dog contest (Did you see the winner?) or maybe, gee, I don't know, hey..what's O.J. Up to these days?

Winning the Battle, while fighting the war.

Thank you! I agree. So sick of the whole Paris, Nikki and Lindsey mania... But I did see the ugliest dog contest article on my yahoo news.... and OMG that was something. Kind of reminded me of Gremlins. (Spike..!)

Good luck on your battle of finding someone.. Doesn't look hard to find here :cattail: - This thread is a good start.. there are so many people you can get lost, but you now have a home to be found.

It's not hard to find "people" here (If I were a female or anything else but a hetero guy I'd be like a kid in a candy factory), and let's face it 90-95% of posters here are guys (we are a randy bunch). But I'm not looking for "quantity" as much as "quality" in that other 5-10%. I just can't hold a conversation with an airhead. Those blank stares when you mention an obscure reference get old quick (and go further to reminding yourself that you're not getting any younger). I have had a couple of rather nice and intelligent PMs on the side, so I'm not complaining.
Of course where are the robots? Hmmm? It's 2007 already...I could have sworn we were supposed to have jet-packs and sex-bots by now

I'm all about the sex-bots! Where are they already????

Bumpage for a great ad!

I remember a television show years ago called "Mann and Machine" which had Yancy Butler starring as "Eve Edison", an experimental android police officer. It was a very short lived series (I don't know why - I enjoyed it a lot!), but I couldn't help but think to myself how fun it would be to have a sexy android girlfriend at the time. Don't get me wrong, real women are great, but should technology ever get to the level that could bring me my own Yancy Butler action figure like Eve Edison, weeeeell, let's just say the idea has it's merits. Imagine - a partner who can be programed to cook like a great chef, fix things, do anything you ask, never complains, and will always give you a happy ending! Plus they'd never age nor care that you do (a generous plus for those who reach that mid-life crisis in life and realise that those nubile teenage (18+) girls are off limits due to the ick factor involved on their end (OMG, what are you? You're like old enough to be my DAD!).
Ahhh, technology.
I guess until then, Babygrrl, we'll have to make do with what we have. :nana:

There are lots of women here at Lit, many are intelligent and friendly too. If Lit were a house you're only in the entrance. Lit is a big place, lots of forums, some more active than others but check them out, join in discussions etc. Each forum does have its own personality but all are worth a look, read some of the threads to get a feel for things.

I assure you there are a lot of women who can hold an intelligent, creative and fun conversations. Look around, just like in r/l, they won't fall into your lap. Have fun and enjoy all that's offered.

Welcome to Lit. :)

There are a lot of us here...guess it just depends on how YOU define intelligence and conversation. Many of us have issues in rl that keep us off here for a great deal of time making chats few and far between.

I'm not a card carrying member of Mensa but I didn't ride the short bus to school either. Have a great time here on Lit and maybe we can chat sometime. WW

Don't knock the short bus! There are many that ride it that can surprise you with what they can come up with.
Oh, again I'm not saying they (smart, witty, and vocal women) aren't out there, they're just hard to see amongst the men which outnumber them somewhere areound 90 to 1 it seems. As a matter of fact I've since run across one or two who are quite engaging in conversation, and I welcome it. I actually look forward towards turning my computer on and checking the waters to see what I might find. It's always been my experience that the more intelligent a woman the more erotic she can be, as ignorance tends to keep many from exploring their wilder sides. So, it's no surprise to find many women in here are probably doctors, lawyers, college students, etc.
Step aside Cheerleaders...
;)

Cheerleaders these days aren't like the cheerleaders I grew up with, or it could be me. I am getting older and I'm starting to appreciate women like wine...aged to perfection. It has always been my experience that although a woman is generally considered a woman at 18 (21 in some areas, lower in some countries but we won't go into that), they aren't really at their sexual peak until they're in their 30's at earliest.
Men on the other hand are said to reach their peak on or around 18. I don't remember, it was too long ago, lol!
I subscribe to the Playboy Magazine Measurement of life. Before I was 18 I couldn't wait until i was old enough to go out with girls that were like the girls in Playboy. Then I became 18 and realised that the girls in Playboy preferred older guys with jobs. The next stage is the worst, when you wake up one morning and realise that now you're successful in your career, you have a house and a serious bank account, you're old enough to be the centerfold's dad. It's downhill from there. The next step is even worse and too scary to discuss.
Now I wouldn't turn down a cheerleader that's of legal age, but then there's not too many women ingeneral I'd turn down anyways if they get my attention waving pompoms. :p

Top 5 things a woman looks for in a man:

1) Wealth
2) Humor
3) Looks
4) Confidence
5) Intelligence

Top 5 things a man looks for in a woman:

1) Breathing

The other 4 don't really matter once he's found one breathing :)

BabyGrrl

Oh dear, you seem to have something caughtin your box there babygrrl...yup, lots of mail it seems. :nana:

The android thing amused me. :) Did you ever see that movie Cherry 2000? I remember watching that and thinking man... that's gonna be how the future is. Scary. *grins*

Cherry 2000 , it was a classic. It and Eve of destruction (about an android assasin named Eve) came out about the same time. But for best, look no further than "Blade runner" with a young Darryl Hannah as the sexiest bot of them all :)

Mmmmm, yes Ms Hannah was definately worthy of the title sexiest bot. No arguing there.

Oh, I don't know...there's also Rosy from the Jetsons. Her bolts, her diodes...what lovely curves! (She's the aunt Bea of robots!)
Then there's the original sexbot from Fritz Lang's "Metropolis" (Trivia here - the Bot's name according to the script was "Futura")
On a contemporary scale there's the "Buffy Bot", which Spike had commissioned for use as a sex toy.
At the other end of the spectrum there's Data, who was determined by Denise Crosby to be "fully functional".
Now if only we can turn fiction into reality :)

He knows who played Tasha Yar? And the Jetsons?

The Slayer can be forgiven ... they had some interesting leather clothing in that one.

Wow ... what a man! :catroar:
