But then I had it and it disappeared that shit hurt terribly..so I'm anti chemistry unless it's sexual

I had that kind of chemistry with someone once. From the very beginning they felt strangely familiar, like we skipped the awkward stage entirely. When it ended it left a space that’s hard to replicate… even their ridiculous overuse of emojis. Connections like that don’t come along very often.

For those of us who have felt this in the past, take comfort in the potential for this to exist in the future. I consider the lessons learned along the way as important measures for who deserves the time and energy it takes to maintain that sort of connection and who does not. It's really hard to go from having it to not. It's becoming harder and harder to find it (or am I getting too old?!), but it's important to remember that we never expected it in the first place, and sometimes lightening does strike again. If we're lucky.

This hits, for sure. I can empathize with all of this, from the questioning my age, to not expecting it the first time. We all have more lightning moments out there. Sometime we need to climb up on the roof in the rain.
