Looking for Gay romance story

I cannot for the life of me find this story, I remember most of it but really want to re read it. Essentiallt the story follows 2 guys, the main lead and his Love interest, It starts with ML in the shower at night at college when he hears something in the end stall, he goes to check it out and find a young man curled up and crying, hed been obviously assaulted and tbe story follows the ML helping his to recover and evetually they fall in love and even confront his attacker and get him arrested. If it helps the the ML isnt out until lthen end of the story., Id love any help finding this old gem, I know its pre 2017
