Looking for friends in Australia

I just moved to Queensland Australia, and I don't know any one here. Well, aside from my Fiance. Anyone on the board live in AU? Near the gold coast? Wanna get together for lunch or something?

I'm not looking for sex or anything, just some company. Conversation, over tea, coffee, something harder. Maybe meet up at the beach or a book store or e something?

Or, if anyone visits here, ever, that would be awesome too.

Damn. I would have loved to meet up. I'm in a similar position myself , but am based in Perth.

I am definitely up for a Lit gathering....if my M says its ok anyway

Ha ha! Perfect we are all practically gathered at the four corners. I actually went to Sydney a few months ago. We were planning on going to some random beaches in NSW and randomly decided to drive 10 hours there. Got a rock in the windshield, and killed the engine of the car. Probably shouldn't do it again. Lots of great toy shops and costume shops in the "gay" district. Though maybe next year when we have a planed vacation and didn't drive all the way there. And a lot of spare cash. Did I mention the shops?

I will be back home for a visit in January, but not sure how much time I will have. I thought I would have lots, but seems to be running out with people planning to catch up with me, and my dreams of spending some quality time with a certain 7 yo princess and my daughter. I will keep it in mind though as I will be staying in Brissie and plan on visiting the GC area at least one day while I am there.
