i have alot of bad habits, like, using alot instead of allot, or forgetting to capitalize the first word in sentences. But i usually know better, it's just that i have been on the internet for so long i have valued speed over grammatical accuracy. I have at one point been called "The Winston Churchill of grammar Nazis."
Anyway, this, and the fact that i really should have another set of eyes on my work, is the reason i would like to ask for an editor to help. If there are some glaring plot holes in my story, i would also like some advice on how to fix these. Many times i will forget to include pesky details that are necessary to the story, and i would be glad to hear them, or any advice possible to improve my work. Though, it should be understood that i may not make major plot changes because of this. I still have a degree of pride in my stories.
I usually write FF or MF, sometimes reluctance, and very often Fantasy or Sci-fi themed. My stories also tend to be long,(average length being about 3-10 pages in a Macintosh word document. The longer ones can usually be cut into chapters though.) I have written an unpublished novel and i am working on another, but these are non erotic, and i thought i should try my hand at this genera.
I have submitted one story without being edited about two days ago, and it awaits judgment. But i reasoned that i should improve my chances next time with an editor.
