Hello, i've been around a week trying to find an editor in the volunteer section,but no one of the three i have contacted so far has given me any kind of reply,good or bad.
That's why i'm coming here directly, hoping to find someone who can help me; and to that effect here i explain my case:
I'm a spanish straight male who is looking to take a serious approach at becoming a writer. I hope you can notice that my level at reading and writing english is more than enough to get the job done, but even with that something might come up. The themes i want to work with right now are medieval or urban fantasy, with action and romance. This point is important: i don't want the plot to revolve around sex, but making sex to enrich the plot and have sense inside the story.
The themes i don't want to touch are male homosexuality,prostitution,group sex when there are women with several men... and i'm fighting myself to include non-consent/rape or not (my psychologist says it would good to help me overcome the fact that i was abused when i was a kid)
The kind of help i'm looking for is mostly about structuralizing a story,making deep characters (for example how to make a character that has nothing to do with your personality) enriching the plot from basic ideas,and such things. Help with grammar will be very appreciated,but i think i've got that covered enough.
The first step for my future editor would be to help me pick up one of the several ideas i have in my head so i can develop it.
