Looking for editor for non-human stories

As the headline says, I'm looking for someone to help me out with my non-human stories. I have got multiple stories done but just need that extra advice to finish them off to post them. I would be a first time poster if someone is free to help me out.

This will be my past try with getting help, so if someone is interested, let me know.

It will help your case with the folks here if you provide the size and number of your stories that need editing. A wordcount works best for this. Number of pages is semi-meaningless because font size, paragraph spacing, margin sizes, etc. vary.

Because I use wordpad, I don't think I'm able to give exact number count and with home office, they didn't give me a product key, I can't get that one working right for exact count. Do you know of any other word program that I can use so I can get that info out? And for number of stories, theres presently 3, one completed and 2 still in the works. But all three will have continued stories to them which would be set years appart if you know what I mean.

You can get Openoffice at no cost, it can do a word count.

PacoFear, With the new word program, the completed story that's ready to go is 27,460 words. The one that's still in the works which I'm figuring out which way to go with still is 42,052 words.

The one that's completed will be followed up by a few other stories which will be linked to it. And with the long one, it will be linked with other stories as well over time. Just wouldn't mind getting one of them looked at so I know which way to go for the next part of them. Plus, I wouldn't mind finding out if their worth posting or just to forget about trying to write.lol.

I've been trying to find a editor for over a month now, with either no reply at all or from people who don't do non-human stories. So posting this is like, my last chance to get help.

I just need someone to give me pointers on how to set up the layout better and divide into chapters, if any of the sections need more in them and what not. After that intial help, I should beable to correct where I went wrong in the other stories and upcoming stories I'm doing. And I do take critizism well, so can be as harsh as needed, I'd take it all in and correct myself for future works, even if you say I suck at writting, I'd take it. Just need advice to where I'm lacking and that needs fixing.

Anyways, the completed story is with elves and the one that's not finished, the longer one, it's with werewolves. Just so whoever wants to offer help can decide which one they want to help with.

The longer one I'm thinking about dividing it up into two stories instead of how I have it at the moment. I know that one needs more work than the elven one, so I'll have to go over it again when I feel insperation to work on it again. Been on a mental block with that one to do the elven and a different were story which I think will link up to the long one.

Come to think about it, all the were stories I've written to myself are linked to the same characters in the long one. Maybe it's not a mental block, I'm just a mental case.. lol. Thinking to much about the different stories to entwine together and not thinking about the stories seperately. Guess that's why I'm happier with the elven story and I know what I'm doing after the first one.

Will stop my rambling, thankyou again for the help. I know I'm missing something in it, I'm just not sure what it is.

Aren't they unkind? They put you right about email addresses, but forget to tell you how we communicate privately here.

We use a facility called Private Messages. Go to User CP (top left of this page) then click on Edit Options (in the left hand column) and then tick Enable Private Messaging in the second box down. Make sure that the next box down (Receive Private Messages only from Buddies and Moderators) is NOT ticked. Finally click Save Changes at the bottom of that page.

Hi, Thanks for the offers to help. But due to real life, I've had to put things on hold for longer than expected. Things have gotten worse than they should of been so as soon as things are sorted out, I'll send Surge and Lady a private message to see if your still interested once I've done the second draft of it.
