I am looking for an editor for a story I expect to submit for the Geek Event in May. I haven't used an editor before, but I want to do so for this story.
It will be a mother-son incest story, so you have to OK with that. It will involve Star Trek cosplay, and possibly Dungeons and Dragons and Magic:The Gathering elements, so some knowledge of Star Trek and those other elements would be helpful, but not essential. I'd like to get someone with experience editing, who can point me to stories they've edited. I expect the story will be in the neighborhood of 20,000 words, or around 6 Lit pages.
I expect to have the story done by around May 12, 10 days before it has to be submitted. The story will be in what I consider to be finished, publishable shape, and will have been edited, spell-checked, and proofread at least twice by me, so it should be relatively free of grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors and easy to read, although I do miss some things in proofreading.
I'm looking for someone who (a) is a very strong proofreader, to catch things I miss, (b) knows grammar, punctuation, and spelling well, (c) is willing and able to give a constructive critique of plot and character issues in the story.
I've published 24 stories at Literotica, and if you are interested you can see them here: https://www.literotica.com/stories/memberpage.php?uid=2528007&page=submissions
