Microphone with Lit p.m.?

I have a related question. I often have Lit p.m. conversations with a lady. I need to know if a headset microphone voice-to-text will show up in the p.m. messaging window. Anyone have experience with this?

I do not yet have a microphone for my desktop computer, but plan to order one. Recommendations? Thanks.
