I wrote the following stories a number of years ago but never got rich feedback, even though both rate above 4.6.Most of my feedback has been from men, which may be the norm on Lit. I would love more feedback from women for some balance. Ultimately, I'm looking for encouragement and advice to inspire me to get back to writing. Juicy feedback from a few female fans of my work wouldn't go astray either.

Hmmm... I read them both. I saw a grammatical error or perhaps just a missing word in the first one but I can't remember specifically where. Saw missing punctuation in both stories.

Both seemed to me to be written in a rather clinical fashion. I wasn't even slightly turned on by either story. But... I'm not into women. So there's that.

I read the first one. I agree it felt clinical. The first part felt as if I’m a therapist/researcher, asked a patient to summarize her sex and romantic life, and this is what I got.

The character’s personality came through a bit when she Referred how people perceive her “no arguments” relationship. It gave the impression
That she’s conscious about how people look at her marriage and.... yes.... that she is probably hiding something.

Describing characters by their exact heights, weights, and bra sizes, etc is a hard stop for me as a reader. Some people may feel differently, but for me it’s a no go.
