Ok it was interacial White man/Black woman (not sure why that combo is such a turn on for me.) . The girl left the city for some reason and stopped at this church. IT was having a function so she got some free food and clothes. This is where she met the main guy who owned his own constuction business and built his own house. Also at one point the church caught on fire and he helps rebuild it. I remember something about the countertops in the kitchen (maybe a sex scene) and that at one point she runs back to the city because he proposes i think, or one of his ex's tried to come between them. Then they get back together some how.
