So about last year I read a story chain in the incest category.It started with a family of vampires on a sail ship bound for New York. And it was about 2 brother/sister couples and a mother fighing a evil dude with mind control powers. Other characters involved were a vampire named Galen.

I recall the story you are talking about. I think it was called "Awakening" or "The Awakening" and it got really great scores and reception. However, it looks like the author has removed the story from Lit.
