I have several erotic stories and poems that I would like to submit and am in search of a good editor. Must have experience and preferably some professional background as well. I am looking for a male editor as I tend to ummm *work* better with men. (Nothing personal girls)

If you think you may be interested let me know.

I think you will find that editors with a professional [editing] background do not turn up on Lit offering to work for nothing. I am quite sure that most of us are just other writers who are willing to help each other as far as we can.

I'm with snooper. I don't mind spending a small bit of my time editing a hopeful writer's story, but the 'must have experience' statement bristled me a bit as I'm not applying for a job. Yet if the term applies, what are the terms of the contract?

Check out my bio and "References", LOL.

I'm hopelessly kind and compassionate. You may very well have a career that compels you to write in this brusque and disrespectful manner. All we're saying is, it doesn't work here. RELAX!

And don't misconstrue this as an invitation. I don't do poetry, and unless the story is short (I don't have time for novels), "Don't call me, I'll call you".

Sheepishly, otherwise, I'll help, but patience is required. No skipping in this line.

Didn't cummm accross quite like I meant it to...

I can see that my wording was a bit off guys, I appologize. I didn't mean it the way it came accross. I am not hoping to find a professional EDITOR here...

At the same time, I am a good writter... a good writter who finds no shame in admiting that her spelling, punctuation...etc have a tendancy to be really, really, really crappy, and I would like someone who has experiance in that they have at least successfully edited several stories here.

Professional was a poor choice of words, but I would love to work with someone who has maybe taken English or writting courses and knows quite a bit more than I do, in that regard...lol

I know that for most of us this is just a really fun and rewarding hobby. Again, I appologize.

Well, what a timely response. I was serious in a timid way. I have several writers but there is currently a lull. Not that I'm sitting idly by as I have several personal projects on the burner, bu I'm always willing to make time for a professed Virgin. There's far too few in the world! <LOL>

PM me, we can make the usual exchages of email addresses if I'm "good enough" for you <again, LOL>

There are at least three pros who moonlight here, but it's doubtful that we would or could do any better job than a good writer can.

Offer Made, Hook Removed

Hopefully you have received a PM from someone that is adequate for your needs. If the need still remains unfulfilled I can help. I repeat the offer to PM me.

I try for a 24-48 hour turnaround. Being a writer myself I know the waiting can be a bummer which is why I self-edit my own stories, and with considerable success, I might add.

But I'm also careful not to take on too many writers and get a large backlog of work for myself. That's just my style.

The offer is there.
