Looking for an editor

I am a young guy looking to write some real life experiences. This does involve some incest. I confided these stories to my girl friend and it really got her excited. She evidently has been an avid reader of this site and told me I should post my real life stories.

I am in college but my grammer is as my english lit professor says "wanting" So instead of posting crap I would like for somebody with the skills to polish it up without changing the story.

First of all, let me welcome you to the AH(Author's Hangout), Mb.I hope you find the place welcoming.

Second, about why you started this thread, if you go back to the main forums page you'll see a forum for editors, the EF(Editor's Forum). that's the place to post a request like this. While many of the people who come into the AH are both writers and editors, not all are and you won't get the cross section of editors that you will in the EF. They'll definitely be able to help you out in there and you probably won't have to wait as long for the help you need.

If I were you, I would simply copy/paste my original post from here over to a new thread over there. Good luck finding the help you need, and with your writing, Mb. And, again, welcome to Lit and the AH.

Ok thanks for the advise. I misunderstood the small script under the forum section that stated " IF looking for help writing a story" or something to that effect.

What that small script means is that if you need advise on something, help with research, you want to run a poll to see what people think about something, etc...then this is the place to come, or you can just hang out and yak with other authors. Not that all of the posters here are authors, just a lot of us.
