I started an account here yesterday looking for a venue to get help with a book I am writing. In short it is an account of a life long relationship I had with a woman who is now deceased.

The book is written from her perspective using journals, diaries and audio interviews with her in her last days. It details our sexual connection and was written at her request after her death. She had a desire to allow people to look into her life style with me.

Contact me if interested and lets chat.

Try the Literotica Editor's Forum - you might fight an editor to work with you by posting this request there. This forum's more for author's chatting about things author.

And that sounds like a wonderful memorial project. I hope you find someone to help you with that. :rose:

And you're looking to submit your book to Lit?

As soon as I complete it and work with a editor to clean it up. It is already in progress.

Great, welcome aboard and all the best with your writing project. Try that Editors Forum for an editor, and hang around here for writing related (and not so writing related) discussion. And questions. Any questions you have, ask here. Answers will come :D

Well, there's new development with this guy based on his other thread...

I suspected that would turn out to be the case. He was really interested in being edited for free. Not (as near as I could tell) interested in posting the story.

It was my thought, too, so that's why I asked him. (In both threads. lol)

You need to get a tougher set of beliefs - your world seems to be collapsing around you every second post ;)

I know, maybe join a quilting club or something

I weep for you. Really, I do.

Oh wait. Maybe that's an allergy.

And again, mankind's cruelty strikes his tender soul...you could've just lied and not mentioned the allergies ...and I could have wandered off to bed in peace :D

Perhaps a little misleading response there. Fair enough to ask for help with something that's going to be published off of LIT. Just say so up front though. Full disclosure avoids the type of criticism that gets thrown around if people feel they've been mislead.

If there's explicit sex, LIT is a good place to ask for a volunteer editor. Not many other places you could after all. I've done volunteer editing for off-lit books myself so good luck. I have a couple of readers who volunteered and who are happily editing my off-LIT (and on-LIT) work for me - their only payment is they get to read my stuff first in all it's unedited glory. LOL.

I'm not volunteering mind but I don't see anything wrong with asking - with full disclosure and all that. And good luck with your little project.
