Update: This story is fully released now.
Hey all!
I have about 140k words of story. It's a complete arc and I'm fairly happy with it. I'm ready to publish. I've already split the text into thirteen parts.
I'm looking for an editor who would be interested in beta reading at least the first few parts of it, if not the whole thing. I'm assuming this might be on the bigger side as a project so no need to commit to the whole lot at once. I'm just looking to get the ball rolling, and get to releasing this thing.
I'm mostly just interested in grammar and other technical feedback, but wouldn't mind some story pointers on the side, especially if there's some outrageous points of reader confusion. I'm fairly sure, though, that I will not be doing any major plot edits to this thing anymore. It's been on the table for quite a few years and I'm ready to let it see daylight close to the form it's in now.
I write all my text as raw text, or markdown, to be more specific. I could put it in an open office document for an editor, but I'm not sure I'm willing or able to work in any Microsoft formats.
The story features a normal dude accidentally gaining a magical ability that makes lots of women around him addicted to having sex with him. Original, I know. If that sounds like something you'd want to edit, answer this thread and we'll take it from there. Or, there's probably some kind of PM feature here, too. Sorry, I'm new.
If you're interested in checking out my stuff, I have another story already published on the site. The story I'm looking for help with now is older and less satirical than that released one, but kind of in the same ballpark. And much longer, of course.
