There's a sci-fi book by Andre Norton called Here Abide Monsters. Is that it? I can't think of any other reference to it, but I'm not really up on sci-fi.

Hi Ang, yes there is a book by Andre Norton called that and that poem is on the back cover. I believe it's also attributed to someone I just cant remember who.
