I am a husband in a sexless and a slightly emotionally distant marriage. Looking for someone who I can connect with and recharge myself. Just someone I can talk to, maybe flirt a little. And listen to them as well. A conversation is a two way street after all.
Maybe you are in a similar situation as the wife? If you are and also a kind, have a sense of humor and are open minded person, drop a line. Cheers! And not sure why I am bringing this up but if you are tall, bonus points even though it has absolutely no bearing on whether we can have a good conversation or not.

UPDATE
After a fair bit of navel gazing, I have come to a conclusion that what I really need is physical intimacy. It does not have to be full blown sex. Maybe with the right person and the right circumstances. There are other forms of physical intimacy too that are softer: holding hands, cuddling, kissing..with a hint of my dominant streak showing, maybe?
If you are in a situation like mine but don't want to cross the line all the way across, reach out. I especially dig humility, kindness and open-mindedness in people. We can talk things through and see if there is a connection to be had. I do travel to the New England area frequently on work. Cheers!

I'm not quite sure if I'm exactly what you are looking for (I'm not tall, I'm not a wife, and I don't live in the New England area), but, like you, I also crave physical intimacy and some sort of connection (as you referred to in your first post). Although I have never been married, I do know what it is like to experience knowing someone who is emotionally distant and how difficult that can be to "get through" to that person.
