Most of the humiliation/mortification stuff I've read is 95% the girls and 5% the guys; 0% the couple.
Off the top of my head, I'm having a hard time conjuring a scene where h/m occurs to them both, and not some sort of heroic "honey we'll get through this together" kind of thing. Maybe I am unimaginative.
