Looking for a time travel story

A few (many?) years ago I came across a long multipart story on here about a man whose consciousness gets transported back to his teenage self and gets a second chance at life. He uses this to his advantage to amass a fortune and win the heart of his lost love (and other sexual conquests). I thought it was titled ‘A Second Time Around’ but this seems to be a very common title.

Two stories come to mind and neither are on this site. The vengeful tide by wordstothewise which is about a pirate that comes back and Echoes by reluctantSir which after an abusive childhood comes back to do it right.

They don’t sound quite right. The time skip is to the 80s, the get rich stock plays are msft and black Monday

Just as a tip, if you do a search for "second time around" restricted to story titles, you're left with only 40 hits, which can be inspected in just a few seconds (since many can be ruled out immediately from the blurb or category, and there are several repetitions, with different chapters of a few series). I found about five potential candidates in the list, but none of them seem to fit your description.

Not quite what you may be looking for but its a damn good story to just post in general.

'Play it again Sam' Where a guy goes lives through a Timeloop in which he discovers his wife is cheating on him and he must rise up to both get rid of her and find a way to progress to the next day. This story is nuts, but its pretty good.
