I'm looking for a lesbian story between best friends. One of them is an artist and has been drawing the other one while she sleeps for YEARS. The artist becomes depressed and pushes her friend away for a year +.

When they finally do get back together again, the non-artist allows the artist to draw her while she's awake. The artist has problems sleeping and is Caucasian while the non-artist character is of Latin descent. Their mothers are involved in the story but their fathers are not.
