Looking for a story

I have been a huge fan of the Slickman series "Tomboy" and recently came across another basketball story that involves high school kids around the same age group. It involves a prodigy, an older sister of a player on his team who has loved him for a long time and new girl in town who has red hair. It is pretty recently made within the last month and I am guessing First Time or Novels.

If anyone can tell me the author or even better the name of the story I would really appreciate it. I apologize, I am absolutely hopeless at search.

no problem, love the sports story and the plotline somewhat reminds of what life was like for me when I was younger.
