Hi, sorry for only vague terms. Looking for a story where the wife or ex wife either cheats or the husband thinks she did. He sails off and travels until he stays to live on his boat either on an island or in florida. Finally wife finds him and is standing on dock across from his boat. He sees her and she asks him to extend the gangplank so she can come aboard and talk with him. He refuses so she jumps into the water and swims over to his boat. After trying to explain to him she finally jumps back into water and gets back on dock. As she is leaving she says to him “this isn’t over yet”. I believe she comes back later with his daughter who is unknown to him. There are several sailing away stories with the same trope, but what makes this one stand out in my mind is the dock scene where she jumps in an and swims. Over to his boat. I remember it being a good and somewhat long story. All help appreciated. TIA.
