Story starts as a mc is male and a talented chef. Lives in Paris I believe. His sister ends up calling to let him know that parents died in a car crash. When he gets back to America he is escorted to a hotel where his sister is and informs him that there parents had tons of money and he himself goes to the family home and receives a ring and something else that basically let him delve into his head and receive tons of knowledge and do other things. I kinda remember that he is kind of like a shadow character that has tons of sway in America and travels to other countries across the world that have their own shadow agencies off the same sort. Thanks to the ring he kinda becomes super human.
