Looking for a story where husband and wife arenmeeting at a hotel. While waiting, the wife runs into a man she had an past affair with. Husband see this and figures it out and leaves.

I’d think you’d need some more particulars to help with search . Anything you could remember with specific names, cities, etc.

As far as I remember the husband and the wife were meeting each other at a hotel. Perhaps it was a special occasion? I think the husband was bringing a gift for the wife. I think a neckless. I also think the scenario was that the wife had met with the man perhaps one time while she was on a business trip. I seem to recall the husband hearing them talk about their get together, the man asking the wife if she could meet with him again. After the cat was out of the bag, I recall the husband giving the present to the wife and then leaving the wife at the hotel. He took a cab As he left.

A cuckold story? Or a story about the Husband getting on with his life without her? A BTB or RAC story? You've given us some details but we need more because thid does sound familiar, but I've read half a dozen stories with a similar premise.

Runs in my mind that after he left the hotel in the cab, the story ended. So most likely BTB kind of. Don’t recall any part 2’s. Unless they have been penned since or some new FTDS is afoot. On another note, I think I ran across a story 6 months or so ago that was kind of a followup or a rehashing of “An Innocent Question” by Ohio. I have not been able to recall or re-find that story again either.
