This was a Loving Wives story, a long one too
Husband believes his mature wife is cheating on him.
He investigates and finds she is. A PI tracks the cheaters to a motel and get audio in their room where hubby confirms what is happening. He confronts the wife she gives the usual excuses. He seeks to reconcile with her but has difficulty getting her to face up to the hurt she has caused him.
They even get help with a Therapist to no avail, the wife will not completely face up to what she has done.
The husband meets another woman and tells her everything, with her help he tries to make his wife think he is having an affair to try and jolt her into reason. This partially works and gets the couple eventually talking about the affair.
However the husband does fall in love with the other woman and they embark on a real affair.
The wife is devastated and finally realises the pain caused to her husband thru her own pain and the thought of losing her man and she and hubby find their way back. It was a long multi chaptered story. A bit wimpy, but after he has a real affair himself picks up. They reconcile in the end. Why???
