Read this a long time ago, would enjoy reading it again.
Can only remember a basic outline.....
Wife cheats on husband and he divorces her. But she still loves him and wherever he moves she follows and keeps in touch from afar.
Husband falls in love again with another woman and remarries and they move away.
The ex wife follows but this time makes contact with her ex and his new partner. The women become friends though he is wary of his first wife. Years pass and the second wife is tragically killed in a car accident. The hubby is shattered completely.
Whilst he is in grief the ex wife contacts him and helps him in his grief and mourning.
The two reconnect and they fall in love again and remarry
