Looking for a story

I am looking for a story that I read a while back. If I remember correctly it was set in the late 1960s to the mid-1970s period. It involved a soldier who is recently back from Vietnam and is hitchhiking when he is picked up by two sisters. One of the sisters likes him and the other doesn't. The one who likes him has a toddler with her. He does end up having sex with the both of them, I think.

In the story that was linked, Justin was in the car...went out to eat with everyone...and was in the motel room. Then fucking happened???? Not on Lit. Not with the previous mention of the minor. So, he "vanished"?

The kid is out of the room/location when most of the sex occurs. He is sleeping in another bed in the scene in the motel room. Would that break Lit rules?

Is he "in the room" or did the author "explain him away"? To write that the boy was in the motel room and then sex started is a no-no on Lit also.
