Looking for a Story?

There's always some new "story idea" thread here, but I've noticed that most of the items fall into one of several primary kinks. Sadly, there's not much variety here lately.

Do any of you authors look for potential ideas in the "Looking for a Story" area? I sometimes go there when I'm bored on Lit, and I've got a few decent ideas for stories, or at least scenes for one of my many back-log stories.

Give it a shot. Spend some time going through a few pages and see if there's something that strikes your fancy. If nothing else, it will give you a pretty good idea what kinds of things people are wishing they could find and read again.

I've had a lot of ideas that I fleshed out from these threads that had the kernel of an idea. One person liked one of my scenario ideas so much that they fleshed it out into a full story.
