Looking for a story

Hello all,

I've been looking for a story that I believe was in Loving Wives even if Romance or Non-Erotic would've made more sense. It was about a man who literally just lost his wife and two (or three) kids in an accident right before Christmas. In an effort to get out of his fog his neighbor ends up badgering him into helping a recently widowed woman with a young kid whose husband killed himself.

Any help would be great.

That sounds a lot like the excellent Charity Begins Next Door by Tx Tall Tales.
