i remember it is based in the us and think it falls under loving wives category. the wife falls in love with the brother and the family supports the new relationship. the husband doesnt appreciate this - disavowes the family and divorces the wife. relies on the support of his friend and wife (patty?). the friend and his family is a different race. and the friend used to dat the sister in hs. the kids know him as uncle mark.
