Looking for this story, it's driving me crazy because it used to always come up first thing when I searched for something but I don't remember what (I think it had date in it, cause I like stories that involve dates).
Anyways, point of view character is married man, his wife has been friends with this other woman a long time and the couples are both friendly. I believe something happened, like the other woman was in an accident, that hurt their sex life and in order to help the main character's wife suggested they sort of do a swap to help things out. The husband is interested, because even after the accident the woman is pretty hot.
Unfortunately when it gets down to it she's pretty frigid and the sex (I don't even remember if it happened) leaves the husband annoyed. HIS wife comes home, however, and really enjoyed the whole thing, with a nice dinner and sex. Additionally, they had gone out to some restaurant and bumped into one of the husband's coworkers who saw what was happening and, at the end of the story had figured the MC and his wife had an open relationship and so tried to make a date.
If I recall correctly it was written by one of the authors who have written a lot of stories, and it's fairly old, probably before 2010.
