Looking for a story that might not even be here...

Howdy all. I'm looking for a story that I think I read here, but I could be wrong. It was about a high school kid on Halloween. He was kind of a geek, and was stuck at home handing out candy. One of the people who came by the house was the Hottest Girl In School (tm), who used to be a good friend of the main character. Then she got hot and they drifted apart. They end up talking and sleeping together and getting together. It was a fairly cliched story, but I liked the way it was written, and I'd really appreciate it if anyone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks for the tips, guys. I'm thinking it's not here, or if it is I'm not gonna find it. Unfortunately, I really can't remember any useful keywords - no names, not what costumes the characters were wearing, not even hair color or exactly what sex acts occurred. I've plugged everything I can think of into the search engine and I'm ready to concede that the story isn't hosted here. I did find a couple of other interesting stories, though, so I'd say I came out ahead.
