Some time ago I read a story about a kind of monster. Initially it was tested on, when a woman got caught and the government/corporation decided to leave her to experiment.
Lots of stuff happened slowly and at some point she used a glove to communicate. At another point, her head was encased in a thing from the monster. Later on she escaped and got put back in later. If I recall correctly, most of the story is being told from one of the lead scientists, while later on it changes between the woman and somekind of psychologist that appears halfway in.
Any idea which story it is? I can't find it.
