Hi, I understand my request might come at an inconvenience considering I’m writing about what appears to be a more niche topic. Finding help around it has been difficult. However, I would like to write a story about two lesbians who are intersex/more accurately futas or hermaphordites. I have trouble with dialogue, spacing, redundancies, pacing, and generally finding words that fit what I’m trying to say best. Finding an editor considering the subject matter will be difficult and I acknowledge that. However, I’ve made one less specific post on the matter already that I feel will get drowned out considering it’s vagueness.

Not really an editor, but I'm willing to take a look if you like. PM if you're interested.

Not the point you were concerned with but as an intersex person I'd say intersex is not a valid description for porn involving hermaphrodites or futas. As real intersex conditions never manifest as having both or 'incorrect' parts. Intersex conditions usually describe a defect internal or external. Examples include men with a micropenis, or women with internal testes instead of ovaries. Or even just cis women with a y chromosome such as semenya caster.

Hi! I'm curious. Is it acceptable to write about hermaphrodites as creatures of erotic fantasy? I write a lot of futa stuff and generally try to avoid any suggestion that it's an intersex condition, but I know 'hermaphrodite' is tangled up in the history of intersex conditions.

There's no problem with writing about fantasy anatomy and futas. The subject matter itself is generally fine so long as it's not being mislabeled.

The word hermaphrodite is a little tricky. Calling an intersex person a hermaphrodite is always a no-no but in animal biology it is the correct term for any animal that has both parts, such as snails.

I think describing a fictional race as hermaphrodititic is fine but would caution against using it as a description for humans.
