i recently read this 3 part series in which the wife is a publisher of a magazine or a Blog, having either midlife crisis or confusion about her sexuality had started affair with her lesbian coworker while married to her husband for probably more than 20 year. 1st part of the series is from the perspective of her husband, 2nd is form the coworker and 3rd is from herself. their daughter married either an Irish or a Scottish guy in the 3rd part in London where she sees her husband dating a woman whom she referred as hippie. she actually wrote a letter to her husband before the wedding and receives the reply while in a old age home in the climax. and i guess the story sets in Australia because she mentioned that it's difficult for her to travel from Australia to London for the wedding from such a short notice. part of the reason why I'm asking for this story is because the author made a brilliant analogy between a healthy relationship and a rope from the husband's perspective by saying something like the most important things in a relationship are trust, respect and loyalty.
