Looking for a relationship

I don't know what it is here. I live here in louisville, kentucky I was born in california, and i swear its just crazy, it is so hard to find single women here. Most marry at a very young age. And the ones that are dating are after the "prick" types. Not sure if im just a nice guy in the wrong area or if its me. My friends keep telling me i am way too nice and need to just become a prick. My best friend has tons of women he dates and he treats them like they should be lucky to even know him. I just hope this is not what most women want cause I am a romantic at heart and I just don't think I could be such an ass. Anyways I have many female friends who I care about a lot but divorced of 3 years and just tired of being just the "friend" guy.

I live in a neighboring state and I know exactly how you feel. My problem is that I don't want to leave the area and no one wants to move in. lol I do wish you luck in your search. Sincerely romantic guys are few and far between. Any girl would be lucky to find such.

Yeah have''t had too much luck. The ones i have dated have either cheated on me or used me for money. My last girlfriend she was really struggling cause she had four kids and not a very good job. She asked me if i could help her for christmas with the kids. And i cared very much for her and i really thought a lot about her kids. So I went out and spent about 100 on each kid to help out. And it was nice to know they were gonna have a christmas. So I go over to see her for christmas and walk into her cheating on me with her best guy friend telling me "I was just too much of a nice guy" I appreciate all the sweet repsonses. The way I look at it though for every bad apple i end up dating that brings me closer to the one that I deserve to be with.

That was a shitty thing for her to do, both asking you for money for her kids and cheating. It is just my opinion that it is never a good idea to cross dating and money. I know you are nice and I know you liked the kids but it does change the relationship, I think.

I kept asking myself that question after my ex cheated on me. I was talking about this with a guy friend just a few weeks ago and had an epiphany.....he said that no matter what I'd done or didn't do, it wasn't my fault. My ex had a choice and he made it. The way he explained it from a guy's point of view just clicked and made sense to me. If a guy is going to cheat, he's going to cheat. You probably weren't the first he cheated on and probably won't be the last. It's his loss.

I just wanted to say that Tawny, Ms intrigue, and especially you wyld breeze are true sweethearts and i appreciate your kind words. Its good to know there are still women out ther that appreciate a nice guy with a big heart. Yeah when i was married I planned this nice romantic night i took her out to this nice romantic dinner, then a horse drawn carriage through town. Finished with a rose petal bath, candles and massage. And i realise now that i am so better off now cause i deserve better. Course i did not know at the time she was cheating on me.
