I've had an editor for the last year or so who has been excellent -- I like to think he has helped me improve on my writing -- but unfortunately (fortunate for him) he has gone off travelling for the foreseeable. Hence I am reaching out to see if any of you wonderful writers would be kind enough to take a look at my next chapter. It is the latest part of my series "When the Cat's Away" and sees Claudia (the main character) waiting for hubby to return from his latest travels. She has one idea of how to welcome him own and he has another.
The story is a mix of exhibitionism, masturbation and just a little oral sex. I am fine tuning the draft at the moment and expect it to come in at around 6.5K words. Hopefully my writing is not too bad, so I am really asking an editor to look at a few areas:
1) Grammar . . . yes, I am a victim of the grammar police from time to time
2) Localisms . . . I am a Brit and sometimes drop in the odd phrase which doesn't work for an international reader base
3) Continuity . . . like the famous James Bond car scene I don't want to drive into an alleyway with the car on one set of wheels and then emerge on the other . . . check if anything does not flow properly
4) Ideas . . . I am happy to hear your ideas if you think the story could be improved
