I am a submissive looking for a Dom who is willing to take me under consideration and guide me as his. I am looking for a Dom who wants to learn about me and my life as much as I want to learn about him and his life.

About me: I live in Illinois. I am a very intelligent woman. I love life and I love to have fun. I have alot of interests within the bdsm world and I also have alot of interests outside of the bdsm world as well. I love all types of music and I love to cook. I also love sports.

About you: What I am searching for is a Dom that knows what he wants out of life. The age range I am looking for is 24 -51. I am open to where you live. Intelligence is a plus!

A mentor is a teacher and guide. A sounding board to bounce ideas off of. A mentor is someone who helps YOU find YOUR path and way, by examble, by leadership, through sharing thoughts and ideas, values. A mentor is someone you can talk to for hours on end, and more importantly, someone you can listen to...

A mentor does not need to be a Dominant or submissive, a male or female, married, single, poly or available. Their sexual orientation is irrelevant too.

Why? Because a mentor does not "train you" to serve their desires. A mentor is not someone who is going to "use" you. A mentor is not someone you are going to develop a romantic or sexual relationship with. If that happens, they are no longer a mentor. They might be a trainer, they might be a user and a player. Particularly if they try to use you for play or sex under the guise of their "mentoring" you.

A mentor DOES need to be someone of integrity and character, preferably someone with wisdom and experience in the areas you are looking to learn about. For a new submissive, the best mentor may in fact be an experienced submissive or slave.

In light of what you posted in your personal, are you sure you want a mentor?

Thank you both for your advice. I also have done some searching on this site and have spoke with alot of people who have given me alot of good advice.
