Crap...that series was originally called jack and Julia. The sister's name is Katie and she ends up pregnant. I think and the author's original name was Fistoffury.
he then came out with a sequel to it where the three are in a poly relationship. Three is a magic number...but I don't recall what his new author name is. Just that he had trouble because people kept thinking he stole the story.
